Six new Toothpaste For Dinner shirts!10/02/08
Check out our six new shirts! So hot off the presses,
our models haven't had time to put them on yet.
We have limited stock of these at the moment (printing new shirts is expensive!) Three of the designs will not be reprinted after this initial small run, so if you absolutely must have one or more of these shirts, now is the time.
RSS feeds up for ND, MTTS, SP / T-Shirt Stock09/29/08
The RSS feeds for the other sites are now up and running:
Natalie Dee RSS feed
Married To The Sea RSS feed
Superpoop RSS feed
If you use these and see problems, let me know so we can fix them. We might need to adjust the dates or something, if you're familiar with the RSS spec and can suggest a change, feel free.
And again, if you don't use RSS, you're not missing anything. Same comics as the regular site, minus some basic functionality. Time to light the sparklers, god bless america.
In t-shirt news, we have restocked Natalie's PERSONAL, HATE, and AWESOME shirts (below):
I do have to let you know that we are running dangerously low on many of our other t-shirt designs, though. We'll be restocking most of these in November, which is going to be inconvenient for you if you want one of them between now and then. I recommend strongly that you
go to Sharing Machine and check out what we've got in stock for the following designs:

Men's L/XL sold out, only a few men's S/M and women's XL left.

Women's S/M sold out, very low stock on all other sizes.

Women's L sold out, only one women's XL left. A few women's S/M remaining.

Low stock (5 or less) in women's size S-M-L-XL.

One women's S left, 2 women's XL left. Only a few men's S, women's M/L remaining.
Just tipping you off 'cause if you live outside the US you're gonna have to order sooner rather than later to get your stuff by Christmas. I don't wanna bring up Christmas, but there it is. Christmas. We're gonna try our best to get everything back in stock as soon as possible, but people flooded into the store after the grand opening last month, and it takes a while to get shirts made the right way, so if you want 'em now, better get 'em now.
RSS Feed for TFD09/24/08
Now is the time to make a confession: I am not a programmer. I am not even really a script-maker or PHP typer.
Thankfully, me and Natalie hired a developer a few months ago, who has been working on getting things running better and faster on all our sites. He helped us set up the new store, got us moved onto a fresh new server with more bandwidth, wrote some Facebook apps for us, wrote our new blog software, and a dozen more things on the back-end of the site (the stuff you don't see.)
The end result of all this is that we're going to be rolling out some RSS feeds. If you don't know what RSS is... don't worry. The comics update every day at midnight, so you're not missing anything if you just visit our websites. But some people visit so many websites, they can't visit the websites, so they want to look at an RSS feed. I don't know. It doesn't make sense to me, but if it makes sense to you,
here's the new Toothpaste For Dinner RSS feed. Subscribe to it if you're an RSS type of person, and let me know if you see any glaring errors. It should be working pretty reliably, but you never know.
(Send feedback with subject line "TFD RSS Feed" to

)
I don't use RSS myself, and I don't know anyone who does, so I need some feedback from all you RSS-ed up folks out there, to make sure this is working right. RSS is an extremely important thing to the people it's important to, so I have no doubt that readers will point out an undotted i or uncrossed t. Have at it.
New comics EVERY DAY THIS WEEK at SUPERPOOP!09/22/08
Have you seen
Superpoop yet? Superpoop started out as comics I posted in my blog here, and once I accumulated enough of them, we set up a system to post and archive the comics automatically. There will be a brand-new Superpoop comic every day this week (Monday thru Friday.) I have my hands full with TFD and Married To The Sea, so it's not going to be a daily comic... but I figured, hey, let's get it started.
In other news, I should mention that we're running out of some of our designs over at
Sharing Machine. Natalie's SORRY shirt is already sold out, and
WHERE IS MY COFFEE is almost gone as well. Our new printers are a much larger operation than Regular Webcomic T-Shirt Guy, and this is why our shirts in the new Sharing Machine store are printed at a higher resolution, with thinner, more durable ink that's heat treated so it meshes with the shirt fibers. Unfortunately, we have to order much larger batches of shirts, so we're going to run out of some of our designs before we can get them back in stock.
My new comic site: S U P E R P O O P09/18/08
Now open:
SUPERPOOP
Hope you like the new site and its short, easy-to-remember name. I registered the name years ago and was going to use it for something, but forgot what I was going to use it for, and now I know what I am going to use it for.
